Fun with Aunt Dana

Katya had so much fun with her Aunt Dana. She followed her all about like a little puppy. She had eyes only for Deena at the table. Long-suffering Aunt Dana read Katya's current favorite book My Little Picture Dictionary over and over.

They read the book from far away,

They looked around the room for things that were in the book.

When Aunt Dana did yoga, Katya tried it too...

At the park, Katya's favorite game was being bopped on the head with a beachball by Dana.

Katya was thrilled to have someone to talk to in the backseat.

And we all enjoyed exploring new places.

It was so wonderful having Dana here for a few days. I should also mention that Katya even got to stir and "help" Dana with Dana's famous baking. What an honor that was! I didn't get a picture of that, nor did I get a picture of Katya patiently waiting outside the bathroom door while Dana took her shower. Katya misses her "Chickenary" buddy as Mama at least is so tired of reading that book that she kind of goes through it as fast as possible and in a monotone. We all miss her so. A good time was had by all.
