So several weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, I actually got my watercolors out and played around for awhile. I'd been inspired by Melanie's Journey to once again sit down and try my hand at this sort of thing. I was really rusty from lack of practice and spent some time just mixing the paint around on the paper.
One of the blobs I ended up with I just knew I could turn into something. And this is what it became:

City on a Hill

Oh, this is so lovely. I hope you'll be able to continue your painting--there's great power in putting brush to paper.
Thanks for sharing!
