We are still getting a few things from the garden--
peppers, late spinach, carrots, radishes, a couple of squash
The carrots and radishes while not huge in quantity have been of very good quality these last weeks. Carrots large and sweet, radishes with a bit of bite to them--but not overpowering and with nice texture.
The tomato plants are still producing--
the other night B brought in a large tray of them before the big freeze that was supposed to descend. He's been covering the plants on the nights freezes are forecast and he must be doing a good job because we still have living tomato plants.
The brussel sprouts are probably nearly ready to start harvesting.

The summer was so very hot
and suddenly it is gone.
No lingering warm days here!
