Wet Weather, Complicacy, Little Cook

1. At 6 am, looking outside and it is raining and blowing. The diffused light and wind-tossed branches make me think of the Oregon Coast.

2. Accomplishing an errand even though the preparations to get out of the house with two tiny tots takes longer than the actual errand.

3. With Katya's recent interest in her play dishes and preparing "meals", I dig out a set of pretend fruits and vegetables from my preschool teaching days. They are a hit. She is absorbed in slicing and arranging them for nearly an hour.
