Sunday Scribbling: Deepest, Darkest

In the deepest darkest parts of the sea where it is perpetually night, all is not black. Bioluminescence. The fish have lights on them.
In the deepest core of the earth, past suffocating darkness that you can touch, molten fire glows. The farthest reaches of deep space have no lack of stars.
After the sun goes down, fireflies twinkle.
In the darkest hour is when the sun again rises.
Signs of hope that we are not left alone.
Reminders that Light is Life.

Even in dark there is light and in light there is dark.

I love bioluminescence and I like the way you've used it as a metaphor for hope.

i loved the balance and optimism in this...arising from deepness, light in the darkness. I also thought that the line "past suffocating darkness that you can touch" was very evocative.

'Signs of hope that we are not left alone.'
Great positive take on the prompt. Bioluminescence, stars, fireflies, all signposts to the Light.
