I'm making dinner and K looks out the window.
K: There's birds in the tree.
Me: Mmhmm.
K: What are they singing?
Me: I don't know.
K: I think they're singing Jesus Loves Me.

One day she unrolled all the rest of the toilet paper as she sat on the potty. I made her roll it back up. That night as she went to the bathroom she observed: "I have a lot of days [left] of the toilet paper not right."

K's big yawn as I do her hair in the morning.

"Winter is a long time."

Occasionally we stay home on Sundays and watch an online service. Once when I told K that's what we would be doing that day, she remarked "When we go to church on the computer it's not hard to get gone."

She has discovered the "why?" question. She's also taken to asking "Huh? What did you say?" after every little comment I make. (Her hearing is fine.) In addition, she's started asking questions with really obvious answers, such as "What color is your coat?" as I stand in front of her putting it on. Sometimes I feel a little bonkers by the end of the day.

Katya and Tobiah get settled on Brent's lap. Katya says "Now both of me are happy!"

Those are fun. Kyle is saying "What?" a lot lately too. It makes me want to tear my hair out!
