Lovely Day

I heard the fruit trees were in bloom, so one morning a couple of days ago the kids and I drove out to see them. They were beautiful. K enjoyed looking at the trees and the river nearby. It was a gorgeous day, not too hot or cold, no wind.

I thought I'd try to get a little self-portrait of the three of us, but this turned out to be a pretty tricky proposition. It was really hard to figure out where to set the camera on top of the car. And the whole time I left the car door open, so it's in all the pictures.

First, both kids were distracted by something on the ground..

Then I couldn't quite get to my spot in time..

Then K had a nice smile, but half of T's face got cut off..

I decided this was the best we could do..


And took a few pictures of the kids..
and the blossoms.
