While Grandma and Grandpa were here we took a walk/bike/tricycle ride on a nearby bike path. We stopped to look at this horse and he came over to say hello and nibble grass fed to him through the fence.
Pictures from the Spokane Children's Museum. B had to work in Spokane for a week, so me and the kids came and joined him for a couple days. We visited the Children's Museum there; the kids didn't want to leave even after spending more than 2 1/2 hours there. T could have stayed on this excavator alllll day.
K's favorite was the microscope. She talked about it long after.
As the kids pedaled, they watched a tv screen that showed real street scenes.
There was a Philippine village interactive display. T liked fishing from the outrigger boat.
"Come on in, the water's fine!" At the hotel the kids had a great time swimming. Once they both got in the water.
I like the angelic look on T's face. He had such a great time being toted around in the water by Daddy.
K was the most comfortable I've seen her playing in the water.
And some more pictures from our visit to the apple orchard. There was a petting zoo where K met the two week old calf. The kids got to help feed a huge bottle to him a little later.
T met the goats and made friends with the farm boy.
K on the tire swing. She really enjoyed this until she fell and somehow cut her lip shortly after this photo was taken.
There was also an old tractor in one of the play areas. Both kids had a great time pretending to drive it.
It's interesting to compare how they've grown from last year.
