Happy Birthday

It was a milestone birthday for K. Five years old! Throughout the day she kept saying "Oh, I feel big" in the kind of voice you use after you've eaten a huge meal. She was so excited to have chocolate cupcakes for her birthday cake and loved helping to make them. Every time she looked over at the chocolatey rows of them sitting on the cooling rack she said "I am so welcome to have cupcakes!" Since she's been so into bird nests lately, that's what I decorated them to look like:

She was pretty excited about the whole experience.
